INDIAN   CREEK  CEMETERY  ASSOCIATION

Meeting Minutes
June 04, 2000

Opening:

The annual meeting of the Indian Creek Cemetery Association was called to order at 10:00 am on June 4, 2000, at the Comanche Community Center by L. B. Bowman, President.  Glenn Bowman gave the invocation.

A.  Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as read.

Treasurer's report was given by Gail York, Treasurer.  The Association has a total of $22,454.58 in CD at First American Bank of Comanche,  Investment Company of Brownwood $20,000.00, CD of $2,000.00 at Texas Bank of Brownwood, and a total of $4,377.93 in the checking account at Texas Bank.  Treasurer's report was approved and accepted.

B.  Old Business

Gail York reported that the cemetery parking lot has been repaired.

C.   New Business

Motion was made by LaVerne Dillashaw and seconded by Margaret Bowman that the CD at First American ($20,000.00) plus monies from checking,  for a total of $27,000.00, be transferred to the CD account at Texas Bank to obtain a higher interest rate.  Motion carried.

A Port-A-Potty has been donated to the cemetery by ABC Building Supply in Goldthwaite.  A thank you note will be sent.

No deaths were reported during the year.

Person traveling the farthest to attend the meeting was LaVerne Dillashaw from San Antonio.

Oldest person in attendance was Aubrey Jones at 89.  Mr. and Mrs. Jones will be celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary later this month.

D.  Agenda for Next Meeting

Next meeting will be held on the first Sunday of June, 2001.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:00 pm  by  L. B. Bowman. The next general meeting will be at 10:00 am on the first Sunday in June 2001 at the Comanche Community Center, Comanche, Texas.  Benediction was given by Glenn Bowman.
