Meeting Minutes
June 02, 2002

Opening:

The annual meeting of the Indian Creek Cemetery Association was called to order at 11:15 am on June 2, 2002, at the Comanche Community Center by Margaret Bowman, on behalf of ailing President L.B. Bowman.  Glenn Bowman gave the invocation.

A.  Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as presented after motion made by LaVelle Parsons and seconded by Edward Isham.  Motion was made that minutes be mailed with invitation to next year's meeting.  Motion carried. 

Treasurer's report was given by Gail York, Treasurer.  The Association has a total of $3,867.64 in the checking account at Texas Bank of Brownwood, Texas.  It has a CD #10052 of $27,000.00 at Texas Bank, a CD #10722 with Texas Bank for $10,000.00, and a CD #17530 with Comanche National Bank for $10,000.00 for a total of $47,000.00 in CD's.  Motion was made to accept and approve Treasurer's report.  Motion carried.

B.  Old Business

The new sign has been placed at the cemetery and looks good.  The old sign is being held for the McDonald family.    

A load of gravel has been placed at the cemetery for filling in sinking grave sites.

C.   New Business

No new business was discussed.

The oldest person attending was Glenn Bowman at 85.

Traveling the farthest were Wayne and LaVelle Parsons from Temple, Texas.

D.  Agenda for Next Meeting

Next meeting will be held on the first Sunday of June, 2003.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:00 pm  by  L. B. Bowman. The next general meeting will be at 10:00 am on the first Sunday in June 2003 at the Comanche Community Center, Comanche, Texas.  Benediction was given by Glenn Bowman.
