INDIAN   CREEK  CEMETERY  ASSOCIATION

Meeting Minutes
June 05, 2005

Opening:

The annual meeting of the Indian Creek Cemetery Association was called to order at 11:00 am on June5, 2005, at the Comanche Community Center by L. B. Bowman, President.  Glenn Bowman gave the invocation.

A.  Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as read. 

Treasurer's report was given by Gail York, Treasurer.  The Association has a total of $1,050.08 in the checking account at Texas Bank of Brownwood, Texas.  It has a CD of $37,094.93 at Texas Bank and a CD with Comanche National Bank for $10,000.00 for a total of $47,094.93 in CD's.  Motion was made to accept and approve Treasurer's report.  Motion carried.

B.  Old Business

Ruby Carmichael Sharp Estate funds in the amount of $757.72 has been received.

The water well located on the church property has been recorded and registered with the Lower Trinity Water District.

C.   New Business

Cement memorial benches with name plates are now available for purchase at $60 each.  Contact person for the benches is L.B. Bowman in Brownwood, Texas.

Motion made by Robert Williams and seconded by LaVerne Dillashaw that the ICCA purchase a bench in memory of Ruby Carmichael Sharp and her ancestors.  Motion carried.

Motion was made by LaVerne Dillashaw and seconded by Robert Williams that same officers be retained for the coming year, 2005 - 2006.  Motion carried.  Officers will be:  L.B. Bowman, President; Wayne Parsons II, Vice-President; Gail York, Treasurer; Faylene Brown, Secretary.

Motion was made by Edward Isham and seconded by Robert Williams to adjourn the meeting as there being no further business.  Motion carried.

D.  Agenda for Next Meeting

Next meeting will be held on the first Sunday of June, 2006.

Meeting was adjourned at 12:00 pm  by  L. B. Bowman. The next general meeting will be at 10:00 am on the first Sunday in June 2006 at the Comanche Community Center, Comanche, Texas.  Benediction was given by Glenn Bowman.
